Can you say that what a frog is doing when it leaps across a pond and catches an insect in order to swallow it, is _eating_? Eating. We (animals) all extract and produce signals to discern, orient ourselves and differ, but _eating_, the frog does not. The frog is doing something else. There is no comparison to be made. The act of eating which propels these thoughts, is not the frog leaping across the pond and catching an insect. Which is not to say we are making a categorical difference. It is just a vast, vast, **vast** difference. ![[huevo2.gif]]
